Introduction and Private Search Terms
1. About Vantage
Vantage Introductions is operated by Ina Gutowska, a sole trader trading as Vantage Introductions, at Flat 11, 14 Camden High Street, London NW1 0JH. Contact: gutowskaewelina@gmail.com. Vantage is not VAT registered, so the stated £750 Private Search price is the total price and no VAT is added.
These terms govern standard briefs, possible introductions and separately accepted Private Searches. They do not create an investment, property, employment, partnership or fiduciary agency.
2. Who may use the service
You must be at least 18 and have authority to submit the information and act for any organisation you name. Tell us before contracting if you are acting wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession. In that case you may be a consumer and mandatory consumer rights apply.
3. Submitting a brief
Submitting a brief or application is free and does not form a paid contract, appoint Vantage as your agent, or guarantee review, acceptance, outreach or introduction. Vantage may accept, decline, pause or request clarification. We may make a limited initial approach where you have authorised us to do so. We ask further permission before sharing identity or direct contact details. Either party may decline a proposed introduction. No person purchases access to another person.
4. Formation of a paid contract
No paid engagement begins merely because a form is submitted. Before a Private Search, Vantage will provide a written scope identifying the customer, criteria, exclusions, deliverables, start date, expected search period, £750 total price, payment timing, cancellation information and any special disclosure instructions.
A contract forms only when you expressly accept that scope and Vantage confirms acceptance in writing. Payment will be requested only after that point through Vantage's approval-only payment page and Stripe checkout. The payment page is not part of the public purchasing journey and does not replace the accepted written scope. If the written scope expressly differs from these terms, the written scope prevails for that engagement.
5. Private Search
Unless the written scope says otherwise, the £750 Private Search consists of a defined period of commercial-counterparty research, proportionate initial outreach and a written outcome update. The usual target period is 10 working days from the agreed start date and receipt of all required information.
The fee pays for work performed. It does not buy access to a named person and does not guarantee a result, response, shortlist, introduction, agreement, funding or transaction. Vantage may stop or narrow a search if it raises legal, regulatory, safety, reputational or feasibility concerns. If Vantage ends the service without customer breach before completing the work, it will refund the part fairly attributable to work not performed.
6. Excluded activities
Vantage does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, valuation or regulated advice; recommend or promote an investment; solicit investors or arrange funding; arrange, advise on or deal in investments; broker a property sale, letting, mortgage, regulated credit agreement or business acquisition; hold client money; negotiate as another party's agent; verify identity, source of funds or sanctions status; or conduct professional due diligence. Investment and fundraising introductions are not offered through this website. A disclaimer does not make an otherwise regulated activity unregulated.
7. Customer responsibilities
You must provide information that is materially accurate and not misleading; correct it when necessary; have authority to disclose it; avoid submitting sensitive documents through the website form; comply with law and confidentiality and intellectual-property rights; carry out your own legal, tax, regulatory, financial and commercial checks; and not use the service for unlawful, deceptive or discriminatory purposes. Vantage may rely on information supplied but does not independently verify it unless expressly agreed.
8. Assessment and due diligence
Any Vantage assessment is a preliminary commercial relevance review, not identity verification, regulated due diligence, credit assessment or endorsement. You must independently check each proposed counterparty, its authority, credentials, financial position, licences, claims, conflicts and proposed terms.
9. Referral and affiliate interests
Where Vantage may receive a referral fee from a provider, the commercial interest is disclosed to the prospective customer before the introduction. For an unregulated service engagement, Vantage and the provider may separately agree a fee equal to 2% of net service fees actually received by that provider, excluding VAT, taxes, pass-through costs and third-party expenses. The separate agreement defines the qualifying customer, duration, payment timing, refunds, cancellations and repeat work. The customer does not owe that provider-paid fee unless separately agreed in writing.
Vantage does not charge a transaction-based fee for funding, investments, property transactions or business acquisitions through this website. Affiliate links are clearly labelled. The third-party provider controls its product, pricing and contract. Inclusion is not professional advice or a guarantee.
10. Confidentiality and disclosure permission
Vantage follows agreed disclosure instructions and uses reasonable care with non-public information, but cannot promise absolute confidentiality or control information after an authorised disclosure. Do not send commercially sensitive documents until a separate secure method and purpose have been agreed. A non-disclosure agreement applies only if signed separately. Disclosure may be made where required by law, court or regulator, or to professional advisers under suitable duties.
11. Consumer cancellation rights
If you are a consumer and the contract is made at a distance, you normally have 14 days from the day after the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. Vantage's standard process is to begin work only after that period ends. To cancel, email gutowskaewelina@gmail.com or send a clear statement to the postal address above identifying the service, order date, your name, address and cancellation decision.
If Vantage later offers an early start, work will begin during the 14-day period only after your separate express request. If you then cancel before completion, you pay only an amount proportionate to the service supplied. The cancellation right can be lost after full performance during the period only where you expressly requested early performance and acknowledged that consequence in advance. Any refund due after valid cancellation will be made within 14 days using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Statutory rights, including reasonable care and skill, are not affected.
12. Business-customer cancellation
A business customer's cancellation and refund rights are stated in the written scope. If none are stated, cancellation before work begins receives a full refund. After work begins, Vantage may deduct the proportion fairly attributable to work performed and non-recoverable costs disclosed in advance.
13. Intellectual property
Vantage retains its pre-existing methods, templates, know-how and materials. Once all fees are paid, the customer may use the written outcome update internally for the purpose in the scope. It must not be published, resold or distributed, and personal information about a proposed counterparty must not be disclosed, without permission. Each party retains ownership of material it supplied.
14. Third parties and no partnership
A proposed counterparty or provider is independent from Vantage unless expressly stated otherwise. Vantage is not responsible for that party's services, statements, decisions or acts. An introduction does not create employment, partnership, joint venture, fiduciary duty or authority for one party to bind another.
15. Liability
Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or liability that law does not permit to be excluded. Vantage does not guarantee that a possible counterparty is suitable, solvent, authorised, available or willing to transact.
For consumers, Vantage is responsible for foreseeable loss caused by breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill, but not business losses suffered by a consumer. For business customers, Vantage is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss or loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, anticipated saving, goodwill or data, subject always to liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Any supportable financial liability cap must be agreed in a solicitor-reviewed written scope; this website does not impose an arbitrary cap.
16. Events outside reasonable control
Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events outside its reasonable control. The affected party must notify the other and take reasonable steps to reduce the impact. If the delay prevents a material part of the service, either party may end the unperformed part, with an appropriate refund for prepaid work not supplied.
17. Complaints
Email gutowskaewelina@gmail.com with the brief or invoice reference and details of the concern. Vantage will aim to acknowledge a complaint within five working days and provide a substantive response within 20 working days. Vantage is not currently committed to a particular alternative dispute-resolution provider. This does not restrict statutory rights or access to the courts.
18. Ending the service
Vantage may suspend or end an engagement where the customer materially breaches these terms, fails to pay an undisputed sum, provides misleading information, requests excluded activity, creates legal or regulatory risk, or behaves abusively. Where appropriate, Vantage will allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach. Ending the service does not affect accrued rights, properly due payment, confidentiality, intellectual property or liability provisions.
19. General terms
If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. No person other than the contracting parties may enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. The written scope and these terms form the agreement for the paid service, excluding statements not incorporated into them. Nothing excludes liability for fraudulent misrepresentation. Changes to website terms apply to future engagements and do not retrospectively alter an existing contract unless agreed or legally required.
20. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain mandatory protections and may generally bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where they live. Business customers submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
